Felixsee , in Lower Sorbian Feliksowy Jazor , is a municipality in the Spree-Neisse district in Brandenburg . It is administered by the Döbern-Land office. The district Bloischdorf belongs to the official settlement area of the Sorbs / Wends .

history
Bloischdorf, Bohsdorf, Friedrichshain, Klein Loitz and Reuthen belonged to the Spremberg district in the Prussian province of Brandenburg since 1816 and to the Spremberg district in the GDR district of Cottbus from 1952 . Since 1993 the places have been in the Brandenburg district of Spree-Neisse.
The Felixsee municipality was created on December 31, 2001 from the voluntary amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities of Bloischdorf, Bohsdorf, Friedrichshain and Klein Loitz. Reuthen was added on October 26, 2003.
The youngest district is Friedrichshain. It was not built until 1768 as a settlement for the glassworks workers . The namesake was the Saxon Elector Friedrich August III . In 1961, the Friedrichshain television piston factory (FSKW, manufacturer of the first television screens in the GDR ) emerged from the former glassworks .

Attractions
The name-giving lake is a bathing water that arose from a flooded open pit. At its edge there is a 36 m high observation tower.
In Bohsdorf a museum to remind store from the novel trilogy by Erwin Strittmatter .

- Carl Klinke (1840–1864), a Prussian soldier revered as a hero, was born in Bohsdorf
- Erwin Strittmatter (1912–1994), writer, described his childhood and youth in Bohsdorf and Spremberg in the partially autobiographical novel trilogy Der Laden
- Walter Kaiser (1923–1965), engineer, first operations manager (technical director) of the TV piston factory (FSKW) Friedrichshain, lived and died in Friedrichshain
- Sebastian Freiherr von Rotenhan (* 1949) bought the manor house in Reuthen Park in 2001
- Solveig Bolduan (* 1958), painter and sculptor, lives and works in Klein Loitz
