Gistel is a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders . The municipality includes the town of Gistel and the districts of Moere , Snaaskerke and Zevekote .
Town twinning
The partnership between Gistel and the Büdingen district of Aulendiebach goes back to the earlier independence of Aulendiebach and can therefore be seen as a pioneer of the international town partnership with the German city of Büdingen .
