Paul Haarhuis (born February 19, 1966 in Eindhoven ) is a former Dutch tennis player . He is a six-time Grand Slam winner in men's doubles; in this discipline he led the tennis world rankings for 69 weeks .

Career

He reached his highest world ranking position in singles with 18th place in 1995. In his career he won only one title in singles, but 54 in doubles, most of them with his compatriot Jacco Eltingh . At the 1996 Olympic Games , the two finished fourth in the doubles competition.

From 1990 to 2005 he played 49 games for the Dutch Davis Cup team , in which he celebrated 38 wins.

Paul Haarhuis has been the Dutch Fed Cup team manager since January 1st, 2014 .
