Hof was part of the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms part of Rosbach .

location

Hof is located in the Siegaue on the northern bank. Former neighboring towns were Wardenbach im Seifen in the east, Rosbach itself in the south and Kleehahn in the north. The place is on the federal highway 256 .

history

Hof belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1830 the farm had 36 inhabitants.

In 1845 the hamlet had 49 inhabitants in eight houses, 21 Catholic and 28 Protestant. In 1863 there were 66 people. In 1888 there were 62 residents in eleven houses.

147 people lived here in 1962 and 146 in 1976.
