Horst Torka

Horst Torka (born July 30, 1926 in Gleiwitz , Upper Silesia , † March 16, 2005 in Bernau near Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

Horst Torka was one of the first actors to complete his acting studies at the Deutsches Theater-Institut Weimar Schloss Belvedere in 1948. From 1952 to the end of the 1950s worked at the newly founded Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin . During this time he was also involved in several DEFA feature films. After that, he worked mainly for German television and television in the GDR. Here he was best known from 1959 to 1968 as Leutnant Timm in the television series Blaulicht . He also worked very often as a radio play speaker.
