IC 860 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 150 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 35,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5016 and IC 4215 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 16, 1892 .
