IC 841 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 319 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 90,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 4826 , IC 4014 , IC 4017 , IC 4039 .
The object was discovered on February 24, 1892 by Herbert Couper Wilson .
