State elections in Lower Saxony
State elections in Lower Saxony gives an overview of the state election results in the state of Lower Saxony and the resulting composition of the respective Lower Saxony state parliaments and state governments since 1947. The last state election took place at the beginning of August 2017 due to the loss of the one-vote majority in the state parliament (exit from the Greens and the move of MP Elke Twesten to the CDU ), not on the scheduled date in January 2018, but on October 15, 2017.
