Lippinghausen is part of the municipality of Hiddenhausen in the Herford district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Since it is centrally located in the municipality, all important buildings and shops can be found here. The town hall of the municipality of Hiddenhausen is also located in Lippinghausen . It is therefore the administrative center.

The Hiddenhauser Treff event took place in Lippinghausen every two years until the tourist association was dissolved. This was a small fair with bumper cars , chain carousels and food stalls.
