This is a list of the German Evangelical Church Days (DEKT) and the numbers of all people involved. Those responsible, d. H. the respective presidents as well as the acting general secretaries of the DEKT are named. The list also includes the Whitsun Ecumenical Meeting (1971) and the Ecumenical Church Days (since 2003).

The first event took place in 1949, since 1957 the Protestant and Catholic Kirchentag have alternated.

Presidents

Each church convention is headed by a president. Since 1970 the ownership of this office has changed every two years:

The designated incumbent for the Evangelical Church Congress 2019 was Frank-Walter Steinmeier .

Evangelical Presidents of the Ecumenical Church Congress were Elisabeth Raiser in Berlin in 2003 and Eckhard Nagel in Munich in 2010 .

General Secretaries

The General Secretariat heads the College of the Kirchentag. In consultation with the board of directors, it represents the Kirchentag externally and has the right to speak directly in the presidential assembly, the presidium, the conference of the state committees and in the finance committee.
