The list of African Cup winners includes all African football clubs that have so far won at least one of the three African Cup competitions organized by the CAF since 1964 - the Champions League (African Cup of Champions Clubs until 1996), the African Cup Winners' Cup (2004 in the Confederation Cup) or the CAF Confederation Cup (until 2003 CAF Cup) - won. The African Supercup is not included in this list. All winners are listed in the first list. Another list gives all clubs with the respective total number of wins and the number of wins in the individual tournaments, and a third list shows the country ratings.
Al Ahly Cairo achieved the most victories in the Africa Cup with 13 victories. Six clubs have so far won all three African Cup competitions at least once: JS Kabylie , Espérance Tunis , Étoile Sportive du Sahel , Al Ahly Cairo, Tout Puissant Mazembe and most recently Zamalek Cairo . Two clubs have so far managed to win an African Cup three times in a row, a so-called hat trick : Al Ahly Cairo triumphed in the African Cup Winners' Cup (between 1984 and 1986) and in the CAF Cup Jeunesse Sportive Kabylie (between 2000 and 2002). Three clubs have won three consecutive competitions over two competitions: Canon Yaoundé won the African Cup of Champions Clubs in 1978, the African Cup Winners' Cup in 1979 and the African Cup of Champions Clubs again in 1980, and Al Ahly Cairo won the AFC Champions in 2012 and 2013 League as well as the CAF Confederation Cup in 2014 and Tout Puissant Mazembe won the CAF Champions League in 2015 and the CAF Confederation Cup in 2016 and 2017. Al Ahly Cairo even won four times in a row across two competitions: between 1984 and 1986 the African Cup Winners' Cup and in 1987 the African Cup of Champions Clubs.
