List of European men's volleyball championship winners

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of men's volleyball European Cup winners includes all European volleyball clubs that have so far won at least one of the three European Cup competitions organized by the CEV since 1960 - the Volleyball Champions League (until 1995 European Champion 's Cup ), the CEV Cup (until 2000 European Cup Cup winners and from 2001 to 2007 Top Teams Cup) and the Challenge Cup (until 2007 CEV Cup). The now discontinued CEV Super Cup is not taken into account . All winners are listed in the first list. Another list gives all clubs with the respective total number of wins and the number of wins in the individual tournaments, and a third list shows the country ratings.

The largest number of European Cup victories were achieved by CSKA Moscow with 13 and Pallavolo Modena with 12. Three clubs have so far managed to win all three European Cup competitions at least once: Pallavolo Modena, Sisley Treviso and Pallavolo Parma . Six clubs have so far managed to win a European Cup three times in a row, a so-called hat trick : CSKA Moscow (1973 to 1975, and 1986 to 1989 even four times in a row), VK Zenit-Kazan (2015 to 2018 also four times in a row), Porta Ravenna Volley (1992 to 1994), Pallavolo Modena under different sponsor names (1996 to 1998) and Trentino Volley (2009 to 2011). Pallavollo Parma won the European Cup Winners' Cup as Maxicono Parma (1988 to 1990). Pallavolo Modena won the CEV Cup three times in a row as Panini Modena (1983 to 1985). Pallavolo Modena won the CEV Cup (1983 to 1985) and the Cup Winners 'Cup (1986) as well as the Cup Winners' Cup (1995) and the European Cup of National Champions (1996 to 1998) and Piemonte Volley den at least three times in a row, spread over two competitions CEV Cup (1996) and the Cup Winners' Cup (1997 and 1998).
