Strabo reported that bria means city in Thracian place names . This is a list of ancient and modern place names, also sites of ruins near today's cities and places, as well as field names in the entire area historically populated by Thracians , i.e. parts of today's states Serbia , Macedonia , Romania , Bulgaria , Greece , Turkey and others .
