Hilbert began his career at the age of 12 when his brother Kieran (guitar and vocals) and drummer Maik Buchwald encouraged him to found the band "The Future". In 1985 Future won the NDR-Hörfest and received his first record deal in Hanover. Klaus Lage guitarist Rolf "Rocco" Klein , who died in 2015, produced the first single Isabell, Future, in 1986 in the Dierksstudio in Cologne . Lukas Hilbert toured Germany with Future under the management of his father Erwin Hilbert , until Udo Lindenberg brought the Hilbert brothers into his panic orchestra and Erwin Hilbert Lindenberg became secretary. At the same time, Lukas Hilbert and his brother Kieran founded the hard rock band "Hauden & Lukas" and was marketed by Lindenberg as "Germany's youngest rocker" and "Lindenberg's illegitimate son". In 2004 Hilbert made a second attempt to start a solo career as a singer. His first single What I like about you reached number 3 in the German single charts in December 2004. To promote his career, Hilbert took part as a jury member in the casting show Popstars on the private broadcaster ProSieben . He was also one of the producers of the winning band Nu Pagadi , which entered the German single charts with their debut song Sweetest Poison , but broke up a short time later. Hilbert wrote and produced the album Laut und Leise for Peter Maffay and had three albums in the charts in February 2005. On January 10, 2005, Lukas Hilbert released his solo album entitled Der König bin ich , which entered the album charts at number 21. With his single Kommt mein Liebe nicht bei dir , the 1.59 meter tall singer entered the Bundesvision Song Contest , organized by Stefan Raab , with violent "boos" calls for the state of Bremen and finished eleventh with 31 points. French Montana ) in 2017 produced and Lukas Hilbert wrote two songs on the Vanessa May album Rainbow that to number one on the album charts went .
