MTV Europe Music Awards / Best Hip-Hop
The MTV Europe Music Award for Best Hip-Hop is one of the genre categories introduced at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 1997, initially under the name Best Rap . The award paused between 2007 and 2009. With nine awards, Eminem won the award most often, again with his crew D12 . It is followed by Nicki Minaj , the only woman to win this category, with a total of five awards.
