MTV Europe Music Awards / Best New Act

The MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act , along with the awards for Best Song , Best Video and Best Group, is the only award from the MTV Europe Music Awards 1994 launch event that is still given today. He was first introduced as a breakthrough artist and changed his name to Future Sounds in 2006 . In 2007 it was continued as New Sounds of Europe . It received its current name in 2008. It honors newcomers.
