Malá Domaša (Hungarian Kisdomása ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia .
The municipality of Malá Domaša is located on the Ondava River , which is dammed again here only two kilometers below the Veľká Domaša dam. The reservoir (vodná nádrž Malá Domaša) is much smaller (1500 meters long and approx. 200 meters wide) and shallower than the large lake to the north. The Ondavatal is about four kilometers wide and is flanked by the foothills of the Ondau mountainous region ( Ondavská vrchovina ). The town of Vranov nad Topľou is 15 kilometers away from Malá Domaša.
Trunk road 15 (other name: I / 15) runs through Malá Domaša from Svidník to Vranov nad Top ,ou, as a section of the transit route from southeast Poland to Hungary .
Malá Domaša is surrounded by the neighboring communities Giglovce in the north, Jasenovce in the northeast, Žalobín in the east, Benkovce in the south and Slovenská Kajňa in the west.
The place was first mentioned in 1317. The Roman Catholic Church was built in 1769.
Almost exclusively Slovaks live in Malá Domaša . In 1991 there were still 34 Roma living in the village. 90% of the residents profess to the Roman Catholic Church , 8% stated that their denomination was Greek Catholic .
