Milena Strnadová

Milena Strnadová (born Matějkovičová ; born May 23, 1961 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a former Czech sprinter and middle-distance runner who competed for Czechoslovakia in the 1980s and early 1990s .

In the 4 x 400 meter relay of the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 , she won silver with the Czechoslovak team. The following year she was at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki seventh over 800 m and won silver again in the relay. In 1984 she won the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg over 800 m.

Also over 800 m she was fifth at the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart and reached the semifinals at the 1991 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

In 1989 she became Czechoslovakian champion in the 1500 m outdoors, 800 m indoors in 1986 and 1991 and 400 m in 1992 .
