Muhal Richard Abrams / discography
This discography is an overview of the published records of the pianist, band leader, arranger and composer Muhal Richard Abrams (1930–2017). It includes his albums under his own name ( section 1 ), compilations ( section 2 ) and his involvement as an accompanist ( section 3 ). Recordings of his compositions are not included. In the course of his 50-year recording career, Abrams released 31 albums under his own name. According to discographer Tom Lord , Abrams participated in 91 recording sessions between 1957 and 2013.
