NGC 4329 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E5 in the constellation Raven south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 184 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4263 , IC 785 , IC 786 .
The object was discovered on March 9, 1828 by John Herschel .
