NGC 4325 = NGC 4368 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 341 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years across. Its apparent magnitude is 13.4 mag. It is listed as part of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster under catalog number VVC 616 , but it is too far away for that. In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4320 , IC 3199 , IC 3220 , IC 3240 .

The object was discovered on March 15, 1784 by Wilhelm Herschel .
