NGC 5362 is a Hubble-type Sb spiral galaxy in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 101 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on April 9, 1787 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
