NGC 5346 is a 13.9 mag bright spiral-shaped Low Surface Brightness Galaxy of the Hubble-type Sc in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is an estimated 116 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5326 , NGC 5337 , NGC 5353 , IC 4336 .
The object was discovered on May 18, 1881 by Édouard Stephan .
