NGC 5336 is a 12.8 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is estimated to be 113 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 ly in diameter.

The object was discovered on April 9, 1787 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "pB, pL".
