NGC 5348 is a 13.4 likes bright barred spiral galaxy of Hubble type SBBC in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 64 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 65,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5338 , NGC 5356 , NGC 5360 , NGC 5363 .
The object was discovered by Lawrence Parsons on May 3, 1877 .
