The North Korean U-20 national soccer team is a selection team of North Korean soccer players. It is subject to the Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk Ch'ukku Hyŏphwi and represents him internationally at U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at U-20 World Championships and U-19 Asian Championships .
The team qualified for the U-20 World Cup in 2007 and 2011 , where they were eliminated in the preliminary round. Already in 1991 the total Korean team reached the quarterfinals.
The team won the Asian Cup in 1976 , 2006 and 2010 .
