Entry of the Japanese delegation
Japan took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada with 94 athletes in 14 sports.
Flag bearer
At the opening ceremony, speed skater Tomomi Okazaki , who was taking part in the Olympic Games for the fifth time , led the team as the flag bearer. The figure skater Mao Asada carried the Japanese flag during the graduation ceremony.
