Paketendorf is part of the market town of Floß in the Upper Palatinate district in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district .

Geographical location

Package village is about three kilometers southwest of Floß on the north bank of the Girnitz .

Historical names

Earlier names of the place were Pairischendorf, Beyrschendorff, Pausenreuth, Beirischendorf.

history

Package village was mentioned in the Lower Bavarian Salbuch (records from 1269 to 1320) and in the Bohemian Salbüchlein , which contained records from the period between 1366 and 1373. Ulreich Waldawer was named as the owner of four farms in Pauschendorf.

In the Salbuch from 1416 to 1440 were recorded: Thobias the Waldauwer with 4 farms and the Pader and Khuenz Pader farming families. In 1493 Gilig Waldauer zu Waldau had four farms in all-inclusive village as a Lower Bavarian fief.

During the Thirty Years' War in 1620 and 1621 the Mansfeld soldiers marched through Pauschendorf. This led to looting and arson . A list of damages for all-inclusive village from 1621 showed a total of 477 guilders and 35 cruisers.

In 1650 the hereditary homage to Count Palatinate of Palatinate-Sulzbach Christian August took place in the courtyard of the Friedrichsburg in Vohenstrauss . Flachendorf appears on the list of homage with the four farm owners: Michael Greiner, Michael Stahl, Bartl Wirner, Hanß Greiner.

In 1652 package village is described with four half yards. Residents at that time were two married couples with their families. A description by the Princely Nursing Office Floßerbürg from 1704 recorded four teams and two farms for all-inclusive village. In a historical-statistical description of the Floß nursing office from 1794, four farmers, one day laborer and one shepherd were listed. With their families that resulted in a total of 39 residents. Around 1800 there were three houses with 26 inhabitants in Pauschendorf.

Package village belonged to the tax district and the rural community Bergnetsreuth, which was formed at the beginning of the 19th century. The Bergnetsreuth tax district had a total of 190 residents and 19 residential buildings.

The village of Pauschendorf had 29 inhabitants and six residential buildings in 1817, 31 inhabitants in 1861 and 23 inhabitants and four residential buildings in 1961.

On January 1, 1972, Pauschendorf was incorporated into the Floß market together with the Bergnetsreuth community.
