Pavlovo ( Russian Павлово , German Sonnenberg ) is a small place in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast (region Königsberg (Prussia) ) and belongs to Nowostrojewskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Nowostrojewo ( Trempen )) in Ozyorsky District (District Darkehmen , 1938-1946 Angerapp ).
Geographical location
Pavlovo is located on the right bank of the Ilme (Russian: Borodinka), 26 kilometers west of the district capital and former district town of Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938–1946 Angerapp ) on a side road, the Belabino ( Szidlack , 1936–1938 Schidlack , 1938–1946 Schiedelau ) connects with Nekrassowo ( (Groß) Karpowen , 1938-1946 Karpauen ) with Malzewo ( Klein Karpowen , 1938-1946 Klein Karpau ) on the Russian trunk road R 508 . There is no rail connection.
history
The former Gutsdorf Sonnenberg , which had 103 inhabitants in 1863, was one of the ten municipalities on May 6, 1874 that formed the newly established administrative district of Adamsheide (from 1946: Abelino). Until 1945 he belonged to the Darkehmen district (1938 district Angerapp , 1939–1945 district Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
In 1097 Sonnenberg had 132 inhabitants.
On September 30, 1928, the manor districts of Sonnenberg, Adamsheide (since 1946: Abelino), Friedrichsfelde, Ksp. Karpowen (Sapolje) and Louisianna (1938–1946 Luisenpark ) and the rural community of Babbeln combined to form the new rural community of Adamsheide.
As a result of the Second World War , Sonnenberg came to the Soviet Union like all of northern East Prussia and was renamed "Pavlovo" in 1946. By 2009 it was then incorporated within the Kaliningrad Oblast in Russia since 1991/92 in the Nekrasovsky soviet (Dorfsovjet Nekrassowo ( (Greater) Karpowen , 1938-1946 Karpauen )). Due to a structural and administrative reform, Pavlovo came afterwards as a "settlement" (Possjolok) classified place to Novostrojewskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Novostrojewo ( Trempen )) within the Osyorsk district .

The overwhelming majority of the residents of Sonnenberg were Protestant before 1945 . The manor village belonged to the parish Karpowen (1938-1946 Karpauen , since 1946: Nekrassowo) in the parish Darkehmen (1938-1946 Angerapp , since 1946: Osjorsk) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
During the time of the Soviet Union , all church life collapsed due to state prohibitions. It was not until the 1990s that Protestant congregations were formed again in the Kaliningrad Oblast. Pavlovo is located in the catchment area of the municipality in the city of Chernyachovsk ( Insterburg ), which belongs to the newly founded provost of Kaliningrad in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).

Before 1945, Sonnenberg had its own elementary school in which the children were taught in two classes.
