Wassiljewka ( Russian Васильевка , German Neuhöhe ) is a small place in the Russian Kaliningrad region and belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Ozersk in Ozyorsky District .

Geographical location

Vasilyevka is located about 20 kilometers southwest of the city of Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938–1945 Angerapp ) and two kilometers west of Malzewo ( Klein Karpowen , 1938–1945 Klein Karpau ) on the regional road 27A-027 (ex R 508 ).

Before 1945 Neuhöhe was a Vorwerk of the Waldburg estate (today Nikolajewka).
