Nagornoje ( Russian Нагорное , German Alt Ragaischen , 1938–1946 Konradshof ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg region (Prussia) ) and belongs to the Novostrojewskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Novostrojewo ( Tremehmen )) in the Osjorsk district , 1938 (district Darkehmen ) -1946 Angerapp ).

Geographical location

Nagornoje is ten kilometers northwest of the Rajons capital Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938-1946 Angerapp ) and can be reached in five kilometers on an impassable back road from Novostrojewo ( Trempen ). There is no train connection.

history

In the rural community formerly known as Alt Ragaischen there were 70 inhabitants in 1818, the number of which rose to 145 by 1863 and in 1907 was 201. On October 17, 1928, a large part of the manor district of Jurgaitschen (1938–1946 Jürgenfelde , since 1946: Judino) - Domain Alt Ragaischen - was converted into the new rural community Alt Ragaischen. It was incorporated into the Jurgaitschen district (1939–1945 Jürgenfelde district ) in the Darkehmen district (1938 Angerapp district , 1939–1945 Angerapp district ) in the Gumbinnen district of the Prussian province of East Prussia until 1945 . On June 3, 1938 (with official confirmation of July 16, 1938) the place was renamed "Konradshof" for political and ideological reasons.

The new naming did not last long. When, as a result of the Second World War, the place, like all of northern East Prussia, was placed under Soviet administration, it was given the Russian name "Nagornoje" in 1946. Until 2009 he was part of the Lvovsky soviet (Dorfsovjet Lwowskoje ( Gudwallen )) and then came to Novostrojewskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Novostrojewo ( Trempen. Trempen )) in Osjorsk Raion .

church

Until 1945, the almost exclusively Protestant population of Alt Ragaischen / Konradshof was parish in the Ballethen parish (since 1946: Sadowje). It belonged to the Darkehmen church district (1938–1946 Angerapp , since 1946: Osjorsk) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Joachim Großkreutz .

After all church activities were banned in the Soviet Union , new Protestant congregations were formed in what is now the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad in the 1990s. Nagornoje is located in the catchment area of the parish of the Salzburg Church in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ), which is also part of the newly formed provost of Kaliningrad in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
