Novostrojewo ( Russian Новостроево , German Trempen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad in Osjorsk Rajon . The settlement belongs to the local self-government unit of the Osjorsk district .

Geographical location

Novostrojewo is on a side road that connects Swoboda ( Jänischken , 1938-1946 Jänichen ) on the Russian trunk road A 197 (former German Reichsstrasse 139 ) with Saosjornoje ( Kowarren , 1938-1946 Kleinfriedeck ) on the R 508 trunk road . It is 14 kilometers to the southeastern capital of the Rajonsk district, Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938–1946 Angerapp ).

The nearest train station is the city of Chernyakhovsk ( Insterburg ), 27 kilometers away, on the route from Kaliningrad ( Königsberg ) to Nesterow ( Stallupönen , 1938–1946 Ebenrode ) for onward travel to Lithuania (section of the former Prussian Eastern Railway ). Until 1945 the place called Trempen was the terminus of a line of the Insterburger Kleinbahnen coming from Insterburg (Russian: Tschernjachowsk) via Warnascheln (1938-1946 Warnheide ) .

history

The former Trempen is one of the oldest church villages east of Insterburg (Tschernjachowsk) and was first mentioned in a document in 1510. Until 1945, Trempen was a place in the Darkehmen district (1938 Angerapp district , 1939–1945 Angerapp district ) in the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1818 there were 162 inhabitants, in 1863 there were already 379, in 1910 491. Their number rose to 586 by 1925, was 819 in 1933 and 871 in 1939.

As a result of the Second World War , the village came under Soviet administration. The place was renamed Novostrojewo in 1947 and was initially the seat of a village soviet and in 2008 the seat of a rural community. The place has belonged to the Osjorsk district since 2014 .

Trempen district

Between 1874 and 1945 Trempen was the official seat and eponymous place of an administrative district . This was formed on May 6, 1874 from the rural community Trempen. On October 7, 1910, parts of the rural community of Trempen and parts of the manor district of Ernstburg (today Russian: Sady) were formed into the manor district of Neu Trempen (Russian: Sady) and on April 1, 1911, it was incorporated into the rural community of Trempen.

On October 28, 1926, Trempen received "reinforcement" again: the rural community of Bratricken (1938–1946 Brahetal , Russian: Malaja Dubrawka) was incorporated, and on September 30, 1928 the Semgallen manor was added.

Until 1945, the district of Trempen consisted only of one, albeit enlarged, municipality of Trempen.

Novostrojewski selski sowet 1947-2008

The village soviet Novostrojewski selski sowet (ru.Nовостроевский сельский Совет) was established in June 1947. It initially included places that were mainly west, north and east of the Novostrojewo administrative center. In the 1950s and / or 1960s, places located to the west and east came to other village soviets , while the Nowostrojewski selski sowet was extended south to the Soviet-Polish demarcation line by joining the Oljochowski selski sowet in 1954. After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the administrative unit continued as the village district of Novostrojewski selski okrug (ru. Новостроевский сельский округ). In 2008 the remaining places in the village district were taken over into the newly formed rural community Novostrojewskoje selskoje posselenije .
