Pelham A. Barrows

Pelham A. Barrows (* 1861 in Massachusetts , †  1939 in California ) was an American politician . Between 1919 and 1923 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Nebraska .

The sources on Pelham Barrows are very poor. At an unknown time he came to Nebraska and became a member of the Republican Party . In 1918 he was elected lieutenant governor of the state of Nebraska alongside Samuel Roy McKelvie . He held this office between 1919 and 1923. He was Deputy Governor and formal chairman of the State Senate . He later moved to California, where he died in 1939. Barrows was buried in Los Angeles . He was a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War organization .
