Percy Daniels

Percy Daniels (born September 17, 1840 in Woonsocket , Rhode Island , † February 14, 1916 in Bethany , Oklahoma ) was an American politician . Between 1893 and 1895 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Kansas .

Nothing is known about Percy Daniels' youth and schooling. At an unknown point in time, he came to Kansas where he joined the Populist Party . In 1892 he was elected lieutenant governor of that state at the side of Lorenzo D. Lewelling . He held this office between January 9, 1893 and January 14, 1895. He was Deputy Governor . After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, his track is lost again. It is only stated in the sources that he died on February 14, 1916; There are contradicting information about his place of death.
