history

In 1541 the Dobrilugk monastery was occupied by the Saxon elector and the monastery property was confiscated. Some monastery villages were pledged at this time and were therefore withdrawn from access. At the end of November 1546 the monastery was taken by King Ferdinand of Bohemia . However, he no longer restituted it, but transferred the monastery area to the governor of Lower Lusatia, Count Albrecht Schlick, as a pledge, hence the name pledge authority. From 1551 to 1602 this lien was owned by the v. Gersdorf, who were able to redeem some of the mortgaged villages. In the years after 1551 Heinrich v.
