Poche was a district of the municipality Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district . Today it forms part of Rosbach .

location

Poche lies above the confluence of the Gierzhagener Bach in the Sieg . The neighboring town is Gierzhagen in the north, the former neighboring town in the south was Kleehahn .

history

Originally, Poche was called Silberpoche , from a stamp mill .

Poche belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1830 and 1845 there was no settlement here.

In 1863 five people lived here. In 1888 there were 15 residents in one house.

In 1962 there were 16 inhabitants, in 1976 12.
