Quebec Magnetic is a video and live album by the US metal band Metallica . It was released on December 11, 2012 on the Universal Music and Blackened Recordings labels . The DVD is approved by the FSK from 12 years of age.
content
The album contains live recordings of the band's concerts on October 31st and November 1st, 2009 in front of 16,000 spectators at the Colisée Pepsi in Québec , Canada . With eight songs, most were taken from the accompanying studio album Death Magnetic . Four of the songs played come from the studio albums Metallica , Master of Puppets and Kill 'Em All . Further tracks were taken from the albums Garage Inc. (three tracks), … And Justice for All (two tracks) and Ride the Lightning (one song).
In addition to the concert, the DVD contains band and fan interviews.
Cover design
The album cover shows James Hetfield on stage. He holds his guitar in one hand and leans back while a spotlight illuminates him. In the upper part of the picture is the gray letter M in the shape of a lightning bolt. The background is black.

Chart successes and awards
The video album entered the German charts at number 29 on December 21, 2012 and was ranked 68 and 75 in the following weeks. In total, it stayed in the top 100 for five weeks. It reached number 1 in the Swiss music DVD charts, number 2 in Austria, number 3 in the USA and 9th in Great Britain.
