Salisnytschne

Salisnytschne ( Ukrainian Залізничне ; Russian Зализничное Salisnitschnoje ) is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine with about 210 inhabitants (2018).

The settlement is located in the district of Petropavlivka in the central Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk 9 km northwest of the district center of Petropavlivka .

Together with the urban-type Petropavlivka settlement, they form the Petropavlivka Settlement Council. The former name of the place Brahyniwka (Ukrainian Брагинівка ; Russian Брагиновка Braginowka ) was derived from the Bolshevik fighter IP Brahina ( І. П. Брагіна ). On 19 May 2016, the site was in the course of de-communization in Ukraine in the name Salisnytschne renamed.
