Dniprovskoe ( Ukrainian Дніпровське ; Russian Днепровское Dneprovskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk with 5600 inhabitants (2018).

Dniprowske is located on the Kamjansker reservoir dammed Dnepr in Rajon Verkhnodniprovsk and is bordered to the southeast by the for Rajon Krynychky belonging village Auly and on the southeast by Nowomykolajiwka . Dniprovsk is located 29 km northwest of Kamjanske , 70 km west of the Dnipro Oblast center and 14 km southeast of the Verkhnyodniprovsk district center .

history

Founded in 1951 as a workers' settlement for a newly built starch and syrup mill, Dniprovke has had the status of an urban-type settlement since March 19, 1957. The "JSC Dnipro starch and syrup mill", which mainly processes maize into molasses , maize oil , furfural and glucose syrup , is still the town's largest employer and has its own railway connection.
