Mykolaivka ( Ukrainian Миколаївка ; Russian Николаевка Nikolajewka ) is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine with only 8 inhabitants in 2018.
The declining settlement is located in Shyroke Rajon in the central Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk on the Inhulets . The place borders in the northwest on the Rajon Inhulez , the southernmost district of the city Krywyj Rih and in the northeast on the municipality of the Rajonzentrum Schyroke . The settlement council community next to the main town include the seven villages vyshneve ( Вишневе ) Selenyj Haj ( Зелений Гай ) Karpiwka ( Карпівка ) Rosiwka ( Розівка ) Tychyj Staw ( Тихий Став ) Zitkowe ( Цвіткове ) and Schyroka dacha ( Широка Дача ) .
The village was founded in the second half of the 18th century contributed to 1901 the name Bolshoye Seromaschinoje ( Большое Серомашиное ), then up to the elevation of the site urban to a settlement type in 1957 the name Koselskoje ( Козельское ).
Due to the expansion of the adjacent opencast mine to the northwest, the place is almost completely isolated.
