Novomykolajiwka ( Ukrainian Новомиколаївка ; Russian Новониколаевка Novonikolajewka ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with about 4,100 inhabitants (2018).
The village, founded in 1917, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1966.
geography
Novomykolaivka is located in the east of Verkhnyodniprovsk Raion, not far southwest of the Dnieper dammed up to the Kamjansk reservoir , 65 km west of the Dnipro Oblast center . In the north the place borders on Dniprovke and in the east on Auly in Krynichky Rajon . The village is on the N 08 trunk road between the capital of the Verkhnyodniprovsk district, 12 km to the north, and the city center of Kamjanske, 23 km to the west . In Nowomykolajiwka begins territorial road T-04-29 , the south via Verkhivtseve after Schtschorsk leads. Novomykolaivka has a train station on the Dnipro - Kryvyi Rih railway line .
In addition to Novomykolaivka, the settlement council also includes the villages of Bratske ( Братське ) with 66.4 hectares and 318 inhabitants ⊙ , Vojewodiwka ( Воєводівка ) with 43.8 hectares and 48 inhabitants ⊙ , Tschepyne ( Чепине ) with 22.5 hectares and 112 Inhabitants ⊙ and Tschkalowka ( Чкаловка ) with 51.9 hectares and 34 inhabitants ⊙ .
