Svetlana Jurjewna Bubnenkowa , married. Bubnenkowa-Stolbowa , ( Russian Светлана Юрьевна Бубненкова ; born January 2, 1973 in Izhevsk ) is a former Russian cyclist and two-time world champion.

Svetlana Bubnenkowa was one of the strongest road racers in Russia for almost 20 years. Twice, in 1993 and 1994 , she was world champion in the team time trial (with Alexandra Koljasewa , Walentina Polchanowa and Olga Sokolowa ). She has been the Russian champion in road racing and time trial five times.

In 1993 Swetlana Bubnenkowa won the Chrono Champenois - Trophée Européen . In 2002 she won the Giro d'Italia Femminile and the Trofeo Alfredo Binda . In 2005 and 2006 she won the overall ranking of the Emakumeen Bira , 2005 the Giro del Trentino Alto Adige and 2006 the Giro San Marino . In 2007 she won the Tour Féminin en Limousin .

Bubnenkowa also took part in the Olympic Games three times, in 1996 , 2000 and 2004 . In 2000 in Sydney, fifth place in the road race was her best place in the Olympic competitions.
