Travis James "TJ" Mulock (born June 25, 1985 in Langley , British Columbia ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Straubing Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League since April 2018 .

Career

Travis James Mulock began his career in the Western Hockey League , in which he played from 2001 to 2003 for the Vancouver Giants and the Regina Pats . In the 2005/06 season, the center was also active for the Kamloops Blazers . In the meantime, the Canadian was on the ice for two years in the British Columbia Hockey League for the Surrey Eagles from 2003 to 2005 . In the summer of 2006, Mulock moved to the German ice hockey league to the Ratinger Ice Aliens , from there he moved to EC Bad Tölz after their financial difficulties . With the Tölzer Löwen he finally rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2007/08 season .

From the 2009/10 season he played for the Eisbären Berlin from the German Ice Hockey League , where his older brother Tyson was under contract from 2007 to 2013. With Berlin he was three times German champion, after the 2015/16 season Mulock left the polar bears and switched to DEL competitor Kölner Haie .

In April 2018 the Straubing Tigers announced Mulock's commitment.

International

Travis James Mulock was nominated for the first time on February 2nd, 2009 by German national coach Uwe Krupp for the Olympic qualification tournament from February 5th to 8th. He scored his first international goal in the final 2-1 win over Slovenia. Mulock took part in the 2009 World Cup with the German national team.

Personal

His brother Tyson Mulock is also a professional ice hockey player. Her maternal grandfather emigrated from Germany to Canada after World War II.
