TNN Awards
The best current country musicians were honored with the annual TNN Awards (The Nashville Network) . In 1990 the TNN Awards were merged with the MCN Awards (Music City News). Starting in 2000, TNN worked with Country Weekly magazine on the award .
The TNN television station left Nashville for New York in 2001 and was renamed from The Nashville Network to The National Network . The TNN Awards have been discontinued.
