Ratings

At the Tour Down Under 2010 there were six jerseys. For the overall ranking, the driving times of each stage were added up, the first three at every finish and every intermediate sprint received bonus seconds and also 8, 6 and 4 points for the sprint evaluation at every finish. In the intermediate sprints there were 6, 4 and 2 points. In the mountain classification , the mountains were not divided into categories; the first five drivers received points in each classification (16, 12, 8, 6 and 4). The drivers who were born on or after January 1st, 1987 took part in the junior competition.

According to UCI rules, the number of rating jerseys was limited to four, so only the four named jerseys were worn on the stages. The jersey for the most combative driver and the jersey for the team classification (the fastest four drivers of each team on each stage) were only presented at the award ceremony.
