Stages

Because of the great heat and sometimes temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius in the shade, the first stage from Unley to Lyndoch was shortened from 145.5 to 118.5 km . This eliminated one of the three planned final rounds around Lyndoch. The Australian Adam Hansen from the Belgian team Lotto Soudal , the driver's representative, campaigned for the organizer because many racing cyclists suffered from the heat.
