The 11th Strade Bianche 2017 was an Italian road bike race in Tuscany . The one-day race took place on Saturday , March 4th, 2017 , with start and finish in Siena after 175 kilometers. The bike race was part of the UCI WorldTour 2017 and was the fifth of a total of 37 races in this series. The winner of the race was Michał Kwiatkowski , who was able to pull away from a top group of seven with 14 kilometers to go.

The women's race was held for the third time. It was part of the UCI Women's WorldTour 2017 . The winner of the race over 127 kilometers was Elisa Longo Borghini , who pulled away from a group of three with Katarzyna Niewiadoma and defending champion Lizzie Deignan on the final ascent in the old town of Siena .
