The 52nd Amstel Gold Race 2017 was a Dutch road bike race . The one-day race started in Maastricht and ended in Berg en Terblijt after 261 kilometers and was held on Easter Sunday , April 16, 2017 . The bike race was part of the UCI WorldTour 2017 and was the 16th of a total of 37 races in this series.

The winner of the race was Philippe Gilbert in a two-man sprint against Michał Kwiatkowski for the fourth time , although he suffered a kidney tear in a fall at the beginning of the race, which forced him to end the 2017 classic season early.

The women's Amstel Gold Race was held for the fourth time. The start was in Maastricht and finish after 121.6 kilometers in Berg en Terblijt . The race was part of the UCI Women's WorldTour 2017 . The winner was Anna van der Breggen , who was able to pull away from a leading group a few kilometers from the finish.
