The 97th Tour of Catalonia 2017 was a stage race in Spain in the autonomous region of Catalonia . The bike race was held from 20 to 26. March 2017 instead and was also part of the UCI World Tour 2017 . It was the eleventh of a total of 37 races.

The fifth stage Llivia to Igualada was shortened from 194 to 134 km due to snowfall in the Pyrenees . As a result, the start of the stage was moved to Montferrer .
