Trumer triathlon
The Trumer Triathlon is a triathlon event over the sprint, short and half distance. It has taken place every July since 2010 in and around the market town of Obertrum am See in Salzburg .
history
In 2011, 2015 and again in 2018, the Austrian state championships on the middle distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) were held here in the Salzburg Lake District . In 2013 and 2014 the state championships on the short distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) were held here.
In 2014, the Trumer Triathlon in the Obertrumer See area was a race in the cross-border combined classification as part of the Alpenass - together with the Chiemsee Triathlon , the Trans Vorarlberg Triathlon and the Schliersee Alpen Triathlon .
For the ninth edition in July 2018, almost 1900 starters from 26 nations were registered for a starting place. On July 28, 2019, the state championships on the short distance triathlon were held here for the third time (after 2013 and 2014).

Sprint distance
The sprint distance in triathlon is 750 m swimming, 25.4 km cycling and 5.2 km running.

Short distance
The short triathlon distance (also known as the “Olympic distance”) covers distances of 1.5 km swimming, 41.8 km cycling and 10 km running.

Middle distance
In the middle distance, the distances are 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running.
The course records have been held since 2018 by Beatrice Weiß (04: 11: 01.11 h) and since 2017 by Horst Reichel (04: 00: 27.5 h).

- Three hilly bike laps of 29.5 km and 310 m ascent
- The final half marathon with a finish in the center of Obertrum
